Ripoff Fort Lee

I applied for the usa platinum credit card. They told me that i would have to leave $300 in my account to verify that it would be in there in case i were to max the credit card out when i got it. I told the man that he could call back the following friday and i could maybe do it, because i didn't have the money in my account at that time. He did not call back, and took the money out, now my bank account is $300 negative, and the only thing they told me i could do is write a letter. I dont have time to write a letter and wait a week, because my bank is charging me overdraft fees. This company is a ripoff.
