I called to re-start a payment plan on loanS in January. I asked 3 times if my loans would not be in default for doing and was assured each time with a "no." ONLY to then get a letter of interception after I filed my tax returns... Turns out I had only ONE loan out of the three that was handled that day and not a SINGLE mention of my other loans that are still with the same lender and have not been sold to any one else... WHY were these other loans not mentioned in the SAME phone call and handled then??? Oh wait... That's right... Because they only care about getting their money back and they don't care about who they screw over doing so.
