Improperly paid reimbursement to provider instead of patient

I made several visits to my provider (BodyLogicMd of Ft. Lauderdale) and paid the provider in full. The provider then filed claims on my behalf and approximately $700 was paid to the provider instead of reimbursing me. After many calls to both Blue Cross and BodyLogic, I have yet to see one dime. Since I no longer have an active medical policy with Blue Cross, they will not speak with me regarding this problem. The provider says that they have returned the payments, but I have no way of verifying or checking anything since I cannot speak with Blue Cross. The provider also says in late December they cancelled the original claims and refilled them so that the payments can be made directly to me, but to date, nothing has happened. I am in dire need of these funds. Can anyone help me?
