The beginning, September: We fell 3 payments behind. Wells Fargo told me I had to send 3 full payments. If I sent any less they would return the check. I explained I could not do that. They said there was programs to help me. I provided the requested financial status to qualify for one of these during the call. October: They also mailed a form. When I called they did not receive it. Another was mailed. This one I faxed back. I called and it was received and was being reviewed. Allow 10 days.

On October 23 I received Foreclosure papers! Which included a Re-establishment of note. They had lost the mortgage note. I immediately called Wells Fargo and was told that was formality due to the deliguency. I explained I offered payments and each time I was told they would be returned. I had to get in a program. I was instructed to call twice a week. My husband called the attorneys, Echevarria and associates, they stated we should have still sent payments and to keep in contact with Wells Fargo.

This continued on through November talking with Bryan, Celise, and Trey. Getting very concerned and feeling like a sitting duck full of anxiety at this point, I shared my concerns more admittedly with Betty. On 11/22 Casey H which both assured me I was prequalified and not to worry. The foreclosure was stopped and reforecasted for 12/17/04 and that they could see where I did qualify seeing our excess monthly income. They are reviewing for which plan I would fit in. Ms D please don't worry we will help you... Well, ironically I received a letter from WF dated 11/15/04 where my mortgage was sold to EMC.?!?! Effective 12/01/04. Is this mental abuse? I almost at the point of distraught!

I am on the web this morning looking for what EMC is; the first hit was your site full of complaints. I decided to look at Wells Fargo and here I am. Also, just a note, they have not paid my taxes that were in the loan and it took them almost a year to pay the insurance policy that was also in the loan. Both were to be set in escrow after these original payment for the following years.

I was reading the response dated 11/13/04 to your complaint of 04/13/04 and am wondering, 1) who helped you and did your assistance ordeal/process begin like mine? 2) Why would you be on this website if you did not have a complaint against the company?
