Bill Me Later
Accidental sign-up and no way to pay my one-time balance

I wanted to make a one-time payment to an online vendor through PayPal (the vendor seems to require payment by PayPal). Somehow, by signing up for PayPal, I also ended up signing up for Bill Me Later, not knowing what it was. Okay, it was unclear and my mistake.

But now all I want is to pay the one-time payment for the goods ordered (and received), and Bill Me Later is giving me the runaround. There is no statement or account number available on my page after I log in. I do NOT want to link Bill Me Later to a bank account. I simply want to send them a check. The BML site says "put your BML account number on the check," but it doesn't provide me with a BML account number. This is several days later. Why can't I pay now? I suspect the answer is that they want to hit me with late charges. Why on earth are they not allowing me to pay as soon as possible?

Leaving aside the fact that I signed up with them by accident and have no use for their "service" in the first place.
