I wish I had been warned of the hassle and time constraint Sallie Mae was going to put me through. I started borrowing money from them as a freshman and have had a non stop line of issues. They are constantly telling me that I owe them more money than I do and make me wait on hold to talk to a representative for hours at a time to fix the problems. I cannot wait until the day that I pay off my loans and wash my hands of Sallie Mae. The representatives that I have had the "pleasure" of speaking to have been uninformative and unprofessional. They never seem to know what the problem is and I have been put on hold so many times I have their hold message/song memorized. It astounds me that there are so many complaints towards Sallie Mae (all of which im sure are valid) and that the company is still running this poorly.
