Inc. Rip-off! Poor business practices!

In January of this company notified me that they had purchased an account with a credit card company that I had been working with on settling. Since they now had the account, I worked with them to reach a settlement. I agreed on a fixed payment to be deducted on the 23rd of each month over 10 months, which would end in November.

In June, they sold my account to another company. This company then attempted to charge me for late fees because they did not receive a payment for June. They did not receive this payment because Century failed to forward my draft authorization to the new company.

I have since had problems with the other company with regards to the terms of the settlement.in doing further research, I discovered that Century kept very poor notes regarding the account and forwarded no correspondence.

Upon calling Century and requesting they provide written verification of the terms of our agreement. I was informed that they cannot do that as they have turned over all records to the other company AND have kept no back up documentation in their records.

How a business can stay afloat without maintaining records of their past sales is beyond me.
