Grouponvoucher never expires-beware - Groupon work out/gym membership deal

I bought a deal from groupon and I didn't use it and now it has expired. So I though oh great well at least I can call them and maybe get my money back since it said on the voucher that the "vpucher for the amount paid, which NEVER EXPIRES." I called their customer service and NO they can't refund my money back or give me a credit on my account, what I need to do is go to the business where the voucher needs to be redeem and can use the amount paid for the voucher and just have to pay them the difference. Thats why I bought the voucher so I can get a deal not pay for the full amount. This "NEVER EXPIRES" they have on the voucher is misleading!
