Delicious Authentic Caribbean Food reasonably priced at Spanish Island in Bellmawr, NJ - Caribbean Food

This place is great. We discovered it on a Groupon. My wife is Italian and I'm Polish/Irish. We have 3 boys - 15,11 & 8. We like Spanish Food. This place is the BEST! Empanadas rock. Stewed Chix was the bomb. Fried Sweet Plantains with authentic dipping sauce were as good or better than I had in PR. Papa Rellanas with gravy are a must. Sandwiches are good too - try the Bistec, Cuban or Plantain pressed sandwiches. If you like Spanish Caribbean food, you will love this place. Prices are very reasonable and servings are a good size. Great flavor and good service. Food is authentic and made with care. You can taste it. BYOB ok. Sangria is a plus too!
