Lion toy with four parts sold at Target. - "lion-faced" toy with several parts

I have bought several of your toys for my dog and they have lasted well and been very popular - stuffed boys, some animals, some with hanging threads attached, then I bought one of your "lion" toys. It has a soft part on the eat for holding on, which came off of the rest of the toy pronto, which meant that the yarn part which was braided came undone and the toy, even though still a favorite for my dog was gone. The ball came off also - what is that all about? Surely a more efficient and better lasting solution can be had to keep the toy together - and I would still be a real fan of your toys for my dog.
