Terrible company! - 24PetWatch microchip

I adopted a dog from a rescue group several months ago that already had one of their microchips implanted. Getting her chip switched over into my name was an absolute nightmare! It took 3 weeks for them to finally do it. They told me she would be added to my existing file with my pets I already had registered with them. I kept looking and she never showed up... I called and asked why she continued to not be on there. I was informed I had to pay a maintenance fee of 19.95/year per pet or 59.95 per pet for lifetime registration of the pets I already had with them before the files could be merged. I have 5 other pets listed with them. And to top it of the girl I spoke with was incredibly rude about informing me. I asked her what would happen if one of my pets went missing and I refused to pay the fee. I was told my account was frozen and if my information on there was current they would contact me, if not I guess I do not get my dog back. This is the worst microchip company I have ever dealt with! They care nothing about you and your pet, only taking your money. I have a few of my dogs registered with www.petlink.net and decided to register the pets I have with 24petwatch with petlink. I paid $20 for lifetime registration (NO other fees ever!) and bought them new tags with them for about $13 each. I did call 24petwatch to tell them to make a note on my file that I has registered my pets with petlink.net now, which they were rude about... I do not care. They tried to tell me about all of they extra services that are associated with staying with them of which I do not need and I do not want to pay for. If you can avoid having your pet chipped with this company, I would advise doing so. Horrible customer service, and they only care about taking your money.
