Murphy Gas: Cant get gas. It said "no gift card can be used at this pump" on all pumps! - gas sale

I am very frustrated and upset because this moring I needed gas so I scrounged up all my money and change with a total of $7 to put in for gas to go and pick up my son from pre school this afternoon. After driving through the entire Murphy gas station I had seen that all the pumps said that they dont accept walmart gift cards at this time. After going inside walmart using what little money that I did have to put in for gas and then realizing that I wasnt allowed to use it. Now what I am suppost to do? With the ecconmy being low and us struggling as it is I can use the money I do have for gas that I really needed. Therefor I couldnt get gas so now what is what I was thinking. There shouldve been notes on the doors of Walmart or somthing letting us as daily customers that the murphy gas station wasnt taking gift cards at the pump. I feel like Walmart is slacking and therefor we as customers are having to suffer for your guys lazyness. Im sure I am not the only person who had problems too. There was a guy beside me who had $40 put on a gift card and he couldnt even use it what the hell. What is going to be done about this?
