DirecTv and onscreen billboards

In the past few days DirecTv has ruined channel 352 News Mix and has betrayed us customers. "Betrayed" because we signed on to pay for satellite television to avoid excessive advertising on other TV, and now on at least one of the channels there is an "in your face" permanent billboard ad that's many times worse. It's size is so large it reduces face sizes on the subscreens so it's hard to tell who's on the air.

While the ad was being placed there must have been a glitch because the highlight for each subchannel was blue instead of yellow and I couldn't get out. Sound wouldn' change going to the next channel. Following my call the control problems were fixed, but in the process the top of the ad was changed so a distracting message turns on and off while you try to watch your program. Until the last few days I've really enjoyed the channel because I could toggle among multiple stories in the news. Now I'm angry with Directv for the first time over decades as a customer, and I'm also determined not to buy a Lincoln automobile. If the advertising is a trend, I'll be thinking about leaving Directv at the end of our contract. We pay way too much to have to endure intrusions on our shows, and we pay way too much to have constant items presented only if we pay extra.
I would have sent this to customer service, but I couldn't find a way to send an e-mail from their website.
