I am really confused by WaMu 's new ad campaign in all bright colors and silly copy.

Aren't banks supposed to be a little serious.

Especially during a recession.

Someone is giving WaMu some bad advertising advice.

And why call it WaMu? Why not call it by its real name Washington Mutual.

At least it sounds like a venerable institution.
