Classic Bait & Switch
I have ordered from RedKap (RK) before (nice clothing, returning customer). On 3/20/26, I ordered 3 pairs of pants at approximately $30 each.
Within that same week, on 3/24/26, at 1 a.m., I received an email from RK informing me about an upcoming delivery that was set. On that same date (3/24/26), at 8 a.m., 7 hours later, I was notified by email from RK about a 25% off sale, starting on that same date, which included the identical pants I ordered. I immediately used their online contact system to request a refund or discount due to the excess payment of approximately $7 for each pair, or approximately $22 in total. I added that it was possibly a mistake on their part but pretty disingenuous if not. I mentioned that I would refuse delivery otherwise to return the items to RK.
On 3/28/26, their package was dropped off (I could not refuse delivery), so I accessed their website chat and informed RK how displeased I was. I stated that I would not open the package (tantamount to accepting their package?). I asked instead for a return refund label (free returns over $55). Absolutely no customer service person entered the chat.
Since 3/30/26 and today 4/1/26, I have not received any email, call, or notice from RK (redkap.com) about even a refund label.
I have notified my bank, coworkers who wanted uniforms, and family/friends about the situation, and advised them to avoid this company. A shame really, because they have good clothing (why I recommended them), but their marketing and customer service are non-existent. So, a customer places an order, but then the company pulls the rug out from under them by having a sale on the same items within days. They then ignore the customer's complaint.
