On 10/04, at around 4 pm I contacted Expidia to make room reservations at the Hilton Garden Inn located in Rancho Mirage California. The female on the other end was hard to understand. After telling her the dates and the place I wanted she took information from me. She then said she needed my credit card info so I gave it to her. She then informed me that the reservation did not go thru since there were no more King rooms available. I told her that I did not want to have a smaller bed due to the fact that I am 6'5" tall. She then told me that she found some rooms and requested my credit card info again. I gave it to her and again she told me no rooms were available. I asked her several times to get a supervisor on the phone but she refused and kept trying to get me to take a smaller room. I told her NO numerous times.

I then asked her if my card was charged for anything and she stated no since the reservation did not go thru. I asked her several times more if the card was charged and she kept stating NO. We then ended the conversation and at no time did she e-mail me anything to say that she did charge my card. However on 10/05 I found out that there were in fact two seperate charges on my card. The first was a charge for $119.43 and a 9.48 charge as well. Then the second was charged for the same amounts again.

In contacting them the same day to find out why the charges were made I was left on perminant hold refused a supervisor and finally was unable to get anywhere. I want to make sure that this does not happen to anyone else and I think things like this need to be made public.
