Greenlight Digital The most misleading online data used to produce the most unusable marketing reports London

Greenlight Digital Marketing produce and publish industry sector reports. The data they use is totally unrecognisable and misleading. It seems they are using the report to make their clients look good. We requested a proposal from Greenlight some time ago and turned them down, but our brand www.lowcostholidays.com is number 6 of all holiday brands, and travelpublic.co.uk, one of our competitors we believe based on other data sources is number 4. Between the 2 brands, we attracted at least 10m unique visitors in January, yet neither of us feature on the Greenlight top 20 report for January, and Greenlight reported there were a total of 4.4m holiday searches in January... That understates the size of the market by at least 90%! The package holiday industry bookings for January were at least 2.5m, so using Greenlight's data, that would imply that there were only 2 searches for every booking. Given that customer visit at least 6 web sites before making a holiday booking, Greenlight's data might have just about been plausible for 1 week, not a whole month!

This sort of fabricated rubbish put out by marketing agencies is at best damaging and at worst fraudulent.
