Global Discovery Vacations
NOT South Padre Island!

We have been members with Global for a few years and have found their condo's rate from A (once) to D - (once). We are now staying in South Padre Island in Galleon Bay Resort and we have been very unhappy. There were no hangers when we arrived or hair dryer. The beds are ancient and the couch is terrible. You sink way down and toward the back when you try to sit on it. My husband brought in furniture off the deck to sit on. The bathtub doesn't drain, so while showering you are standing in water (not nice). When I called Global's Customer Services, I reached someone named Steve that was less than pleasant. He didn't have to supply hangers (like WHO travels with hangers?!) and he said he would check into my other problems but no one has ever showed up to do anything. Global sold us a resort with hot tub, the hot tub is NOT hot... So there's an honest complaint. Make sure you beware of where they send you! I guess you have to ASK if the hot tub is working!
