This company made "reservations" with a local airport shuttle company fo me for a round trip between Sacramento and SFO to connect to and from an internation flight next month. Official looking confirmation complete with all information and numbers came by email. Immediate charge to credit card. Because there was an error I contacted the transport company, Davis Airporter, which is a legitimate company and they had never heard of my reservation.

When I contacted Shuttlefare, "Kelly" explained that my reservation "had not gone through" and the the "hold" on my credit card for the amound would be released. It is not a hold and I am watching carefully to see their is a refund. I have booked directly with Davis Airporter and should have no further problems, unless I have to hassle with the bank over the payment to Shuttlefare.
