Refund Policy is horrible

I called Vegas.com to cancel my reservation an entire month before my trip. They told me the fees to cancel would be $325. My reservation was only $688. So they wanted me to pay nearly half my reservation in cancellation fees, knowing very well you won't do it. I called multiple times to see if we could make other arrangements, but no resolution whatsoever. I would never recommend anyone go through them as you are forced to stay with your reservation. Any other way to book would be better than this. Hope this prevents someone else from finding this out far too late.
