Telephone Call to take a survey with a free trip to the Bahamas

Traveling & Tourism

I had received a call this morning to take a political survey by answering 3 questions and using my keypad for my answer. When the survey was completed, I was to press #1 on my keypad to receive a free 2 person caribbean cruise to the Bahamas. I am only responsible for the port fees which is $59.00 per person. Jamie, told me that his employee number is 1919 wanted my full name and a debit or credit card plus my full address. I questioned Jamie about the legitimacy of this offer plus spelling me out the fine prints. He told me that they do often gets cancellation and the survey I had took was an award for my time. Too good to be true. I told Jamie that $118.00 is too much for me to handle right now so, he said he will do me a favor by only charging me for 1 person. I told Jamie that I live in the West Coast and I will not be able to afford my airline ticket to Fort Lauderdale. Good ole Jamie had even offered to give me a free airline ticket and he was extremely persistent to have my full name plus my debit or credit card. When I told Jamie I do not own a debit or credit card, he just hung up on me.

Half hour later, my wife got the same call but she hung up on them.

So, please be aware of this scam everyone. Do not just give your name, address, debit or credit card number out freely. Thank you.
