Renigs on free advertising, slow to return emails and phone calls, puts you off until the expiration date has lapsed

Vacation Rentals is an on line service that lists vacation sites for rent on the Internet. You can be a renter or a rentee. We were renters and signed up for one year. We never got a booking from their site in the year and they promised 6 months free advertising if no bookings were obtained.

At the end of the year my Wife called them and asked for the free 6 months as our ad was pulled on the 365th day. They stalled her, she got the typical runaround and was later told that the complaint had to be in the first 7 days after the ad runs out.By stalling her, they claim she didn't meet the deadline. The other reason for denying our claim was because (according to them) we only submitted 7 of the 8 photos that were part of the ad. I submitted all 8, but couldn't prove it since my ad was pulled. Why wouldn't I take advantage of the full eight photos?

This is the problem with dealing with a faceless, nameless Internet site. Nobody is to blame or will anyone try to make things right. It's all about the money.
