Surveycruise.com Bogus cruise offer to waste time on a survey. No way to redeem offer

Traveling & Tourism

A computer call offered two cruise tickets to take a survey. Sounded too good to be true, and it was. After the survey, I was directed to stay on the line to talk to an operator to arrange the cruise. She took phone number and zip code (presumably exempting the company from future do-not-call list complaints). Then said, "hold for arrangements." I got to listen to recorded sales offers on hold until I was directed to their website (surveycruise.com) to arrange my cruise tickets. A professional-looking, add-drenched website asked me to log in using the phone number and zip code that I gave to the operator. That log-in system only returns error pages that appear to be debugging code (but from looking at the code, I think are just frauds). There are no addresses or phone numbers on the site. The help and support links all lead to another form page that only returns the same type of error page.

I found some more information about them at:

I predict that they are making money off of me in three ways. The initial survey that they duped me into probably has some value. They sold a bunch of ads to other shady companies and made me listen to or look at them, and they will use my phone number to call with future sales offers that other companies pay them to make - circumventing the Do-Not-Call List rules by claiming a prior business transaction.
