They will NOT return my money, scammed over $1000 out of my account

My name is Halina and 2 years ago I got a letter in the mail saying I won a free cruise for 2 to the Bahamas, but that I needed to call the number within 48 hours to calim my prize. I am one who believes things more easily than others, but I figured if I called and talked to them and really see what this cruise was about then I would be able to tell whether it was real or not. They really seemed like they were a real company, providing me with a lot of "free" things, but they said I needed to decide whether I was taking the trip today or not, because it was a 1 time only offer. I ended up saying that I wanted this cruise and gave them my credit card number to secure my trip. From a "free" vacation, I ended up paying almost $1000 on the FIRST bill they sent me!

So I then called them back 2 weeks later complainig that I wanted my money back and I said I didnt want to take the trip anymore because I never agreed to pay for a trip that they said was free. They said you cannot cancel your reservation and that I need to pay it. This blew my anger through the rooof! When i spoke to them the first time I specificly repeated myself a good 5 times asking "will I get my money back if I change my mind" they kept saying "yes, yes yes". Repeated my question again "will I get my money back even if i call in a month?" their answer "yes". Funny how in 2 weeks I wasn't able to return it. So with anger I looked on the interenet, and there seems to be a lot of people who got scammed with this company. I knew if I went for this so called cruise, then I'd be paying for it all over again. Feeling stupid I realized I just lost so much money. Forgetting about going on the cruise, I never called to book a reservation because I just wanted to forget about it.

After 2 years of not speaking to them, they called me back during dinner time a few weeks ago asking when we were going on this cruise. With anger I said we are not interested in this cruise and hungup the phone. The next day the manager called my house wanting to speak to me about the situation. I was so angry that they still never left me alone it almost brought me to tears. Thinking this manager wanted to make this better I talked to him later finding out that he needs another $900!!! I was absolutely furious! I gave them heck, so he ended up giving me 10 "free" extra trips and lowered my payment to $700. Now I am jobless, with almost $2000 gone out of my pocket with NO CRUISE! I am furious at them, but I feel even more stupid for falling for this scam and not being able to get my money back. I am ready to fight, and ready to get my money back. I hope nobody else falls for this trip. It'll cause you more stress than you could imagine. Somebody please help me get to the bottom of this!
