Motel 6
Youngstown OH Scam artists

Traveling & Tourism

I stayed at Motel 6 on Monday, May 23 to save a couple of bucks while traveling from Connecticut to Wisconsin. The room was nice and clean and everything seemed okay, but then 3 days later there was another charge on my credit card for $25. When I called to find out what it was for I was informed I had stolen all of the towels. Since this was absolutely untrue I protested the charge. At first, it seemed like the manager was going to be agreeable and give me my money back, but now it looks like I'm going to have to fight to have the charge refunded.

All I can think is that this is a scam and this is how Motel 6 Youngstown, OH makes their real money... By accusing guests of stealing things that were not stolen so they can add additional charges to their credit cards. I'm sure many people don't even fully check their bill or statement at the end of the month so the motel probably gets away with this more often than not.

I am going to be posting reviews all over the internet, disputing this charge with my bank, and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. If you stay at this motel, be careful. They're a bunch of scam artists.
