Airline refunded the money, but Airfare.com wont!

I had booked my ticket through airfare.com in Nov and due to bad weather in Europe, the flight was cancelled by the airline when I was in the airport. I was advised by the airline staff to contact my agent to initiate a refund of the ticket as the airline was issuing a full refund of the ticket, and they sent a copy of the cancelled ticket to my email.
I tried contacting the airfare.com customer service and they provided absolutely NO help and used terms like "we are not involved" and "we dont care any more" and I should deal with the airline myself, they ultimately HUNG up on me! That is absolutely ridiculous! I anyway went on my trip (buying a last minute ticket for an arm and a leg through a different airline) deciding I'll talk to them when I return.
When I returned, I first spoke to Lufthansa and they said they had issued the refund within 8 weeks to my agent and I should request the refund from my agent. I spoke to airfare.com again in Apr and this time a better individual spoke on the phone and asked me to send an email to their customer service request a refund. I did that (twice since then), its been 2 months and no response yet! Im not sure if I'll ever receive my money back. The *@#$* airfare.com ate my money.
NEVER USE AIRFARE.com EVER. Use one of the trusted sites to book your tickets.
