Expedia Left Honeymooners High and Dry

I bought a flight and car package to Yellowstone for my neice and nephew's honeymoon from expedia. It was about the 10th time I had used expedia for such travel plans so I had no worries. My niece calls me in Billings after the flight and told me that there was no reservation for the rental car. Turns out, expedia not only did not pay for rental cars but the "price gaurentee" is not something they honor either. This was supposed to be a carefree holiday, a time for them to get away and relax after a stressful wedding.instead, they had to stress over getting a car that expedia said they had reserved. When I called expedia, they only made excuses and simply distanced themselves from the problem. I would suggest that if you are trying to rent a car from expedia, don't. Make the reservation directly through the car rental place. You will have less hassle and less likely to be left high and dry...
