Florida Bahamas Vacation
8 Day vacation ripoff

Traveling & Tourism

I attended BeerFest in Providence, RI a few months ago and filled out an entry form for a vacation. Today, I got a phone call fromFlorida Bahama Vacations telling me that I was a winnner of a 8 day vacation to the Bahamas. It included a 2 for 1 airfare voucher, a rental car, 3 nights in Orlando, 3 in Fort Lau., and tons of hidden fees. There's a 299 "promotional fee" per person, a 149 port fee per person, and you have to visit the company when you are in FL.

ALSO—they needed a credit card on the phone, at that time ONLY. He said that I had to give him my credit card info right away or the package would be cancelled. The minute I said I wasn't comfortable doing that, he became rude and disinterested. Don't fall for this trip!
