Falsified claims to the "Internet Better Business Bureau"

Ms Elaine Cross contacted me twice in the last couple of weeks. Yesterday, without doing a full back ground check, I paid 449.00 to them by check to have them sell my timeshare. They claimed they could sell it for 28k-32k and that the buyer would have to pay the fees and closing costs etc. I was naive and I did agree to pay the fee. They had claimed that the previous company I had tried to rent out my timeshare with and paid 899.99, which I did not tell them I had done, was an illegal company. Now, It doesn't take a genius to put two and two together and assume that this company is the same company. Especially after I did a check against that company too and the same GM and owner was listed on the BBB. I found serveral consumer fraud and scam reports on this company and did some research on the ARDA website that they were supposedly members of. According to ARDA website, 5 Star Resorts is listed as a member in good standing. However, when I checked the BBB, even though they are not a member, they have 33 claims against them and according to the BBB, this company was formed 2 years ago. That is a lot of claims in a 2 year time period. Elaine then claimed that the BBB was being sued in the state of CA because they required money to be a member in good standing. I checked with some friends in law enforcement and they could find no court cases against the BBB in CA. Please do not do business with this company. I have cancelled my check so they will not be able to get that money from me. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.
