AARP/Expedia
Overcharges

We used AARP to guide many resorts/motels to get a journey out west. While in Vernal, UT the hotel (the Landmark Resort - a superb little resort) marketed areas at $65 solitary. We prepaid AARP/Expedia $119 before-tax many weeks before our journey. Whenever we got the statement in the resort it confirmed the resort had charged $83.30 before-tax. AARP had marked-up this space 43%.
All connections with AARP are through India.
We also had have to stop an area in Co. Whenever we could not get aid through AARP since their "program was down" we approached the hotel immediately. The resort was very useful in deleting the area, but AARP desired $25 per evening for almost any cancellations or deleting. Again-all transactions were through India.
