Ramada Inn Plaza Resorts ripoff Worst vacation of my life We will never stay at a Ramada or any hotel that is affiliated with them

We were sent information in the mail about these wonderful vacations the Ramada was offering 698.00 per person and you get to go on wonderful vacations through out the United States.

It sounded wonderful, but little did we know what was waiting for us. We arrived at the Ft. Lauderdale airport and our car was in Orlando. After bickering back and forth with the Ramada we finally get a vehicle. Arrived at an Amerihost which was dirty and paid the taxes on the room. The room was only 49.00 a night. I thought these hotel's were supposed to be first class. That's what they tell you when selling you their product.

On Sunday we went to the tour of their time shares and it was supposed to take only 1 hour and it took four hours. We never got to use our free disney tickets.

We went to Ft. Lauderdale on Monday to go on a cruise. The boat looked like something out of the 1940's. What a disappointment when we saw this antique boat. The food was horrible the baked goods was frozen and heated up. There was a lot of people complaining.

The only nice thing about this trip was at the Blue Lagoon in Nassau.

The next leg of this trip took us to Ft. Lauderdale which we upgraded to be on the beach. Needless to say we had to stay across the street in a dump of a motel that was filthy and had a mold ring in the bathroom of 3'x3' with ants as our hosts. They would not let us stay at the Ramada which was right on the beach. I thought that's what we upgraded to. "No you upgraded to be across the street from the beach". Needless to say we complained and we stayed at a Sheraton which was much nicer.

Three whole days lost with running back and forth from the hotel to complain then to their headquarters, then back to the hotel to pick up our suitcases then back to the headquarter for them to find us a decent hotel. What a fiasco. We wrote to the Attorney General in our state. We did receive $698.00 back and we are looking for more. We do not want to use any of their vacation deals again. We will never stay at a Ramada or any hotel that is affiliated with them.
