Fulfullment International Corporation
Ripoff smooth talking and agressive phone marketing preying on a person's moment of weakness telling them they had won some travel package - too good to be true

Traveling & Tourism

On Friday evening 7th November I received a phone call from a Mr John Day from Fulfillment International Corp.informing me that I had won a USA dream holiday package... And how lucky I was... He went on and on... And of course I got caught up in the excitement - having never won anything before and of course it was my birthday the following day so I just thought how lucky I must be.

The trip was to start in Orlando 5 days 4 nights - 1st class accomodation, then Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 1 night then a cruise on either Royal Caribean Liner or Royal Cruise Liner for 4 days 3 nights in the Bahamas - state cabin - 1st class accomodation. Told me about the 4 silver service dining rooms eating crayfish etc, scuba diving, swimming with the dolphins and much much more - in other words a holiday of a lifetime.

All this is usually priced at US$4000 p. Person but because I was a winner I could have this fantastic deal for just US$937 inclusive of taxes for myself and my husband (who was not home at the time)... And the "friendly" Mr Day managed to get that information from me within the first few seconds of his phone call.

Also included in this deal would be a 3 piece set of luggage AND because I was special and my birthday a BONUS 5 days in Mexico... Wow... And now They would like my credit card details to secure this fantastic trip.
Of course getting caught up in the excitement and given that my husband was away I thought it might be a nice surprise so I foolishly gave them my details.
These were given to a Mr Vince Carroll who confirmed the details and gave me a verification no. 11727202.

The offer was also available to two more of our friends - and we could take the trip within the next 24 months - giving them 90 days notice before travelling.
It all was exciting until I calmed down a few hours later and looked up the company profile and I got your site and then proceeded to read the letters...

Panic set in... I rang the co. Immediately but could get no answer so then I called Visa and cancelled my card. However the transaction had gone through whilst John Day had me on the thephone. I then tried several times calling the co. And just got a message saying to contact by email.

Sent email 10th Nov.informing them that I had a change of heart and would they please reverse the payment on my Visa. I sent them 2 emails.
As yet I have not had an answer but I am hoping that they will honour my request and I will be filing a report with my bank and Visa and reporting this firm for their cunning, aggressive telephone marketing pratices. This is outright fraud and I intend disputing the matter. The change on my visa card was AUS $1354.37.

We also would need to find our own way to Orlando from Aust at our own cost... This after I had given them my credit card details.
Details would be sent to me within 7 to 10 days by priority mail and confirmation on email.
This I received today and imediately replied requesting cancelling and a refund.

Hope you can help me... Helen
