Priceline - "Name Your Price" Function For Hotels
Charged for Unaccepted Bids, Refund Delayed Two Weeks

Traveling & Tourism

I bid on auction for room on priceline.com. My bids were not accepted. Priceline charged my credit card $753.76 and will not return my funds immediately. They claim I could take two weeks or more.
Priceline fraudulently charges me for no services. They evidently are having a cash flow squeeze prior to rumored looming bankruptcy proceedings.
No customer service is made available in United States (despite plush corporate offices in Norwalk, CT) to promptly rectify fraudulently applied priceline consumer charges in the united states.
Still waiting for my credit. No call backs. Over six calls to priceline since incident.
Consumer warning do not use priceline auction feature!
