Motel 6 Council Bluffs, IA
Robbed in parking lot management horrible, police worthless

Traveling on I80 from Chicago to California. Checked in at Motel 6 Council Bluffs, IA Front clerk said nothing about area unsafe, gave me a room in back, no lighting, dark. I was single mom traveling alone. I was moving so I had everything I own in the car. I was called at 3:00 A.M.By front desk to tell me police found my car windows smashed and all my things stolen. Police could care less, said there is many break-ins in the area. Learned that the towm is full of crack and drugs. Then when I was crying in the lobby a customer asked why, when I told them the management threw me out of the hotel"because I was disturbing th customers" It was -10 degrees and I had no car, my dog, and a few bags of things that were not taken. I called corporate office, and they said there was nothing they could do. These people are horrible, and my opinion is that they are part of the scheme as an inside job to rob people. Never never stay here, besides the robbery it was dirty, full of street people, just disgusting. As I was taking my stuff out of the room the manager locked me out of the building so I could not come in out of the cold. I'm a medical professional who in my entire life has never experienced something like this. I would not reccomend stopping in Counci Bluffs period!!!
