Vacation Specialists Ripped off - no vacation from Augusta, GA and $99 lighte

A really nice gentleman came into the shop with vacation packages that were for anywhere we wanted to go for $33 per night. I got 6 nights, with a price break of $99 total. We were very busy in the shop and I did not get to talk to him much. He took the check and did not wait for me to finish with my customer.
The next day, I get the package and research online and find he is a scam. I call my bank to stop payment on the check and he had cashed it immediately after I had given it to him directly at my bank.
I should have not done anything in haste, but I have learned my lesson. Would love to stop this guy. Just glad I did not get any more than I did for my employees. I was too busy or I may have.
