Francis Scott Key Family Motel
Francis Scott Key Family Motel is NOT a nice place to stay while in! Louisville, Kentucky

I stayed at the Francis Scott Key Family Motel in Ocean City, Maryland from August 10 thru August 14. I was very upset over the accommodations because of the bugs in the room. We checked into the room and went straight to bed from the 12 hour long drive. When we woke up, we noticed that small crickets were in the room. On the 3rd night of our stay, I noticed a slug on the ceiling of our room.

I informed the front desk and all that I received was excuses. They claimed that when I opened my door, I let the crickets into the room. When I complained about the slug on the ceiling, they really had nothing to say as to why the room had bugs. They never once apologized for the bugs in the room.

Furthermore, when I went to the ice machine, I was told that I could not fill the ice bucket that was in the room because they did not have enough ice for all 245 rooms. I paid $165 per night for a motel that could not provide me ice for my soft drinks and could not keep my room free of bugs!

I will never stay at the Francis Scott Key Family Motel in Ocean City, Maryland!
