Lied about a prize, lied about the details, stole 598USD, rude chain of Cust. Reps

As i have just finished reading many other reports on this company i feel slightly sick and a little less stupid for falling for this scam. I only wish there was some way to rid the world of such low life scammers; with so many innocent consumers being fooled and stolen from I just wish there was a class action suit or a new law to get rid of these horrible companies.

My story is much like others, expecially those in Canada. My boyfriend and i went to an exhibit show where there was a table to enter your name and information in for a "door prize" of a cruise to the bahamas. Who doesnt enter in for a door prize???

A week or so later he gets a call say that he has won the door prize... And much like everyone else out there who was scammed, his "prize" was a discounted trip, FLIGHTS INCLUDED, cruise through the bahamas. The girl, Samatha Davies, told us of all the exciting things we get, a bonus trip to Las vegas or Puerta Vallarta, 5star hotels, FLIGHTS TO AND FROM. There was NO mention on the time frame in which we could cancel simply the need to pay the "discounted" price of 598 USD$.

We were told we had a year to book this trip and that we could go online to do it all. When i eventually went on there to do it all up, (i had to wait for my school schedule to be in beforei could make any bookings), I see all the fine print including..."FLIGHTS ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY" Ya really??? We are in Edmonton Alberta, flights to Florida will cost around $CDN 1000 Per Person... Had we been told the TRUTH we would not have purchased this so called "Deal"

This trip was now costing us around $3000 CDN, not including spending money, all the hidden taxes, gratuities, fees, and other expenses this company can conjure up.

We first call the company and ask them how our flights are no longer included? They say "sorry" we'll send you vouchers in the mail. We get the vouchers a few weeks later and they are only viable in the 50 United states of America. Canada IS NOT the 51st state and Edmonton is on of the furthest cities from the border! This is ridiculous.

We are livid. I call the company, i get the run around, sent from one agent to another before i finally get sent to a "specialist" named James. A snide little man who managed in the most condescending rude way to tell me we are NOT getting our money back. Its all in the details on the website (which it is not). I had to fight tooth and nail with this manipulative jerk just to get a company address! My opinion is these "specialists" are picked by been the most manipulative, word bending people.

We called back again and again, and i figure our file must be "flagged" as yet another customer wanting a refund. I doubt we will get our money back.

Its a scam. Its a dirty dirty scam and something needs to be done about it. Maybe all of us who have been ripped off by this company and others like it need to step up and band together...
