Stupid Losers Try to Take My Money? Say I can't have it back! I got it back!

I've read what some of the others have wrote, and I also have a similar story:

One day in our mail box, we've recieved one of those fake tickets, the ones that look like a check but just a promotional offer, and it had "you've been selected" call this number. So my fiance calls, and talks to some guy that says she can get a great deal on this and blah blah blah..

Anyway, after saying no a bunch of times, he tells her that he can lower the cost, to only $174.50 now, and the difference later. So she charges the money to our credit card, thinking that it would be a good idea for our honeymoon. HONEY MOON FROM HELL!
A couple of days later, we recieve a video and stuff, and says in it "YOU MUST CANCEL WITHIN 72 HOURS OF THIS LETTER TO RECIEVE A REFUND", but that same day, my fiance lost her job so we couldn't afford it, and i called to get our money back.

I talked to the sob on the phone for 20 minutes... He kept saying "Its non refundable, she knew that...", "read carefully", "we tape the calls".

I tell the guy that my uncle is a "lawyer", and the sales agent told us that we have 3 days to cancel after recieving the letter, and that the agent told them the same. I needed a copy of the tape to admiss into evidence for our case that we are going to file, which among other things are going to include the post marked envelope, the highlighed "3 day note", and the notes we've jotted. He promptly put his supervisor on the phone after hesitating for an answer, and saying "yes, we record all the calls, but due to a large number of them, we can't send you a copy of them", i asked for his name and he promptly replied"why do you need my name", in a hesitant shaky voice.

Well, just my luck, my cordless phone disconnected, and I went off to work mad. Two days later, I check my online bank statement, and I see credit "174.50 RamadaResorts-FtLaudFL810000042603". I'm glad they didn't call my bluff and backed down. They rather just pay my money back rather than face a law suit. And believe me, i ain't taking no more crap from nobody! Don't buy stuff over the phone.

Just hang up on those dirty greedy sob. They're out to STEAL your hard earned cash! A quick buck for themselves. If you are still facing these guys, stick at it. Like a water trickling down on rock, each drop may seem insignificant, but over time, it'll wear down anything...
