Mercedes Homar, Lifestyle Boutique rents out high end apartments which are not available

I sent the following email to aSmallWorld, which is an exclusive online community, and Mercedes Homar who stole 3224 dollars from me is part of this community.

I contact you regarding my request to remove Mrs. Mercedes Homar from your members.

I rented 3 apartments from Mergroup, (Mercedes' company) on the 16th September for the 3GSM conference in February. Mercedes charged me 3224.40 US dollars from my bank account as an account for the reservation, and the rest would have been paid at arrival.

The price in Euros was 2550, and she said she would charge 2600 to make the price round. (I personally have not heard in business that you can round up price like this..)

We were in contact with Mercedes, and I tried to contact her again in January, getting closer to the date. Mercedes did not answer me because her email address was not working anymore. I tried to call the office which is mentioned on her website, www.mergroup. Es, but I was told that Mergroup has moved away more than 6 months ago. I tried to contact on skype as well as on the given mobile phone, but no answer.

I googled Mercedes Homar, and I found the company who made her website, but they did not want to give me her phone number or any information. Surprisingly a company came up, and Mercedes' name was on the list as a secretary working for this company. I was quite surprised, as a businesswoman who has a webpage with private jets, yachts etc. You would not expect working as a secretary. I called the company and asked for Mercedes who was shocked how I found her...

Then I also posted a thread on the aSW forum if someone knew about Mercedes. I received some messages, and I was also told that Mercedes tried to sell a hotel to a company, and when they started to seriously study the case she disappered..

After finding out all this, I consulted my lawyer, who checked Mergroup, which has several strange things within her company, paying taxes etc. After all I believed that these apartments do not exist. I also found a webpage, where the apartment Mercedes rented me, was available for exactly the same days.

I said to Mercedes that we do not want to rent these apartments because we do not work with such companies (I also asked for a receipt, which by law has to be given in Spain, but she never wanted to send one.)
I kindly asked Mercedes (who explained me she had various problems and closed the company, she forgot to inform me about..) to give the money back, otherwise I need to report to the police. My lawyer also called her 2 and half weeks ago, and Merceces promised to give the money back in a week, but nothing happened.

Tomorrow I will go and report Mercedes at the local police station. I will attach the emails we exchanged and all info I have.

I reported Mercedes Homar to the police in Spain. I am now in the United States and claimed the money back. Mercedes Homar has a friend at Disney who charged the 3224 dollars for her, so if Disney refuses to give the money back, will have to report here too.

I have never purchased any product from Disney, never been in LA, as it says on the card..
