Got my credit card number from expedia and began charging me $12 monthly for nothing connecticut

I made a hotel reservation on expedia - then cancelled it and got a cancellation number, next thing i know this charge starts popping up on my monthly bill - i have disputed it with my credit card company and will be denying all charges - i also had to change my credit card number to avoid future fraud
