IAN Travel Services
Fraudulent Behavior and Evasive customer service

Traveling & Tourism

After booking a reservation at an expensive resort with an explicitly stated 24 hour cancellaton policy, Hotels.com agent (Edelcampo) processed my credit card for over $1138. She then sent me an e-mail confirmation which stated that it was a 3 day cancellation and that there would be no refunds since the reservation was only two days away. My credit card was charged for that full amount.

My effort to get this removed from my card was difficult and the customer service at IAN was elusive when I tried to register a complaint with the executive management. This was a harrowing experience making me shy away from many of the e-format services and certainly never to use Hotels.com ever again.
