What the letter looks like (see below because it could look different)

Front of letter:

Top left corner: "Division of Revenue Department of Funding". Next to that it said "Bailout" and then "Form 2009"

Bottom Left corner: (in all caps) "Warning the penalty for obstructing or interfering with the delivery of this letter is a fine of $2,000 and up to 5 years imprisonment." (I guess this is to make the company seem more legitimate and related to the government."

On the side: (with arrows in all caps) "To open-fold and tear off sides at perforation"

Then when you tear sides and open letter you see this message:

Congratulations Yournamehere

Our Promotional Department has scheduled you to receive TWO ROUND TRIP AIRLINE TICKETS TO ANY MAJOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ANYWHERE IN THE CONTINENTAL USA. To claim this special gift, simply call 1-800-462-9808 Flights Fill Quickly. First to Call, First to Fly.
Reservation # randomnumberhere

*Our records also indicate if you respond within 72 hours you will receive a COMPLIMENTARY 3 day/2 night BONUS vacation getaway."

Then attached to that message is a (in all caps): "Travel Itinerary Sample"
on the back of this "Travel Itinerary Sample" it says "*Some restrictions apply. Call for details of participation" under the address of the "travel provider" of Global Vacation.

If you received something like this, DON'T CALL THE 1800 NUMBER. I don't have personal experience of having called the number, but these people have and its a nightmare:

I got this in the mail and I went online to find out if it was real (it looked VERY fake) and this is what I found. The company has changed it's name from Global Vacation Ventures to Global Vacation (because there has been so many complaints online) Sometimes people get the letter that I got in the form of a birthday letter. Still bogus. The scam is that they have you call them up, they say that the offer is only valid if you sit through one of their "promotional meetings" and even if you decide to sit through the meeting, they make you pay lots of "taxes and fees" and you never end up getting the actual tickets. I haven't heard of anybody so far that actually got the tickets or 3 day / 2 night vacation or EVEN had a good experience. This has been going on ALL OVER the country, so even if you aren't located in florida, you still may be at risk.

I've NEVER heard of the department of funding division of revenue or any other government affiliated program EVER giving out free vacations, especially not to "bailout" the economy. How would you going on vacation "bailout" the economy?

I looked it up online and 2000 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. West Palm Beach, FL (Global Vacation address) is a Colonial Bank Building. I highly doubt that a travel agency would be located in a colonial bank building...

Also, in the top right corner the letter has a postage thing that says: "Presorted standard U.S. Postage Paid permit #850 Mailed from zipcode 32114" Zipcode 32114 is DAYTONA BEACH not WEST PALM BEACH!!!

Other travel companies that I have seen mentioned:

VIP Travel in Fort Mill, SC with the address of what used to be Crossroads Mall. Somebody I read about on another site called them (Now Plaza Fiesta) and they do not have an occupant by the name of VIP travel.
