Coral Beach Travel And Tour
Vacation Prize Scam

Traveling & Tourism

In May I won the prize of a lifetime... An all-expenses paid, 4 day Bahama vacation including airfare for two. I received a certificate with a number on it.
I had just returned from a week long cruise, so I decided to wait until the following winter to use the certificate which was good for 1 year.

Part of the deal was a $125.00 registration fee per person. So, in I sent the registration form with a check for $250.00 to book the trip for February. I was told that the resort had been wiped out by a hurricane and I had 1 year to use the certificate after the resort was rebuilt. I asked if I could transfer the certificate to a different promotion, but I was told I had to wait.
Every year I tried to book the vacation and every year I was put off.

In I was offer a cruise on Royal Caribbean, but they were only putting the $250.00 that I sent in '05 toward the regular cost of the cruise and I was not getting anything for the prize that I had won. The agent wanted the $2250 balance to be paid ASAP. I did not book the cruise, I only asked for my $250 back. I never heard from them again. I have been unable to get through and now I find the business is gone.

When I read the other complaints, I guess I am lucky to only be out $250. How do these people sleep at night!!!
