Gas Up America
Is a scam and I never recieved my free gas, but paid out $100 in gas

My boyfriend and I were contacted by a timeshare company in Tahoe by the name of Tahoe Sands. We were told if we attend a timeshare presentation we will get a $100 certificate for free gas. We would be staying at the Tahoe Vistana which was right across the street. We had no problem with this arrangement. We travel to Tahoe, did the presentation the following morning and they have us wait outside for our gift. (Im assuming because they know people will freak out when they see a coupon and not $100 in gas)

So we obviously left not happy. We then had to go spend EXACTLY $100 on gas. Which means taking 2 of our vehicles to the gas station at the same time to use all $100. No more, No less. After this you send them the reciept, the dates showing when gas is purchased and your COUPON. We then wait to get our money back on gas, which we have already spent. So I just got a reply in the mail from GAS UP AMERICA, and it includes MORE COUPONS!!! Do they honestly expect us to keep purchasing and sending in reciepts for money on gas we will never get returned? This is a scam and it was not worth our time... Or money
