Simple Escapes ripoff Internet Worldwide

I really have no idea who Simple Escapes is or are... I was checking my statement and noticed $134.95 for MSK Simple Escapes... I called the 888 number that was provided and asked then who they are and why are they charging me? I was asked to verify my address. I refused... I then asked if she could verify my address to which she relpied "yes, I Can".

I told her that I was not giving her any information and again asked her how they got my money. She said, "because you have a membership" I said No, I do not have a membership, I don't even know who or what Simple Escapes is. I again asked for my money back she said she could not refund my money until I verified my address.

I was not giving her squat. If she didn't already have that information I was not going to provide it... I then asked for a supervisor. She put me on hold for about 20 minutes and a lady claiming to be Ashley (sounded like the same woman I had just spoken to) came on the line. I explained to her that I was not going to verify anything until they could tell me how and why I was charged for something that I know I did not authorize.

She began to explain what Simple Escapes offers... I interupted by saying that I got the gist. But again, I never purchased Simple Escapes, i do not have a membership and I want my money refunded immediately. She said that she would have to take my number and a customer service rep would call me in about 2 - 3 business days. I said that I could talk to a lawyer faster than that.

I really have no idea what this is or how they got my information. While reading a few of the other reports I'm guessing that it's possible that my own internet provided sole them this information... If that is the case then AOL is in deep @#^%! This scares the hell out of me because this is my personal, private bank account and if these people could get my money so easily, then who else out there can do the same?

I am going to call the number that others on this site provided to see if getting my money refunded is as easy as they say, but I am also not going to stop until I find out how they were able to take my money without my consent.

Someone will be held responsible for this!
