Traveling & Tourism

I received a invitation brochure in the mail directing me to contact GSI, to confirm reservation to learn about travel vacations through a 90-minute presentation located in Columbia, Maryland. My husband and I sat through the presentation, but realized the vacations were too expensive and elected not to purchase. THe presenter stated that we would be entitled to two passes, pretty much anywhere, even though we had elected not to purchase the vacation trips. We reserved on-line within the 30 days requirement and received another brochure in the mail to choose a dream vacation or getaway. We were required to provide a front/back copy of her drivers license and valid credit card with the reservation request. Additionally, $4.95 registration fee per person was a requirement. Two months later, we received a phony passport, but we were required to pay additional fees. After contacting the office to inquire why we were required to pay more money, we were given a phony phone number to the person that authorized/sponsed our vacation. We left several messages without any returned calls. After two weeks, we noticed a deduction of $500.00 from our credit card account. Through several efforts to cancel our request for the vacation and have the monies restored, we received no responses and the confirmation number for the vacation was untraceable and without much success we requested for the CEO/President to contact us. Each time, we received a message that he was out of the country or extremely busy. To date, we have not had the money reimburse nor a trip that was problem, provided. Please do not waste your time attending the phony presentations and the offer sounds to good to be true, therefore, don't waste your time investing your money towards nothing. I have four kids and this was my husband's and I first trip to plan, because we could not afford a honeymoon or take a vacation.
