Ripped off and Left stranded in Italy, We had to fend for ourselves and pay to fly back

We (10) of us signed up for an 11 day pilgrimage called bella italia to italy sept 22 to oct 02. When we arrived at the airport in italy there was no one to meet us. After a 2 hr wait we called the hotel where we were suppossed to stay and were informed we were not registered there and would not take us becuase regina reinhard had not paid her bills for a long time.

Long story short, the tourist dept of italy was kind enough to help us. They provided a bus for a couple of trips to the vatican and helped find lodging. For 4 nites we spend at differant hotels run by religious orders, and the fifth nite we stayed 2 nites. We paid for all but 2. We had to stay becuase monday was the only day the airline could accomodate us, again we paid ourselves. Regina showed up on the third day acting like everything was alright and threatened the tour company over there by calling the police.

The police informed her she had lots of judgements and cases filed against her and she was not getting out of italy, her passport was confiscated and was held at the us embassy. The horror stories mounted as the other groups she screwed arrived in rome. She had cancelled the return flights back to the U.S. For this group and had it credited to her account. She had also done this to the youths who had gone to world youth day in australia.
I pray this woman is stopped before more people get hurt.
