Harassing calls, bogus vacation offe

The call began with a recording, saying that if I wanted a 'free vacation' to press 9

I then spoke to a live agent. When I asked her what company she represented, she told me it was "Dream Vacations". I asked her later on, and she revealed the address of the company:
1515 N. MARION ST
TAMPA, Florida

I asked how she got hold of my number. She told me that a friend or relative had recommended me, or that my credit card company had given them the number.

Part of the deal was to listen to a 60 or 90-minute presentation at Calypso Cay, a condo in the Orlando area. (Calypso Cay has been mentioned in other usacomplaints.com on the site). Dream Vacations was involved with selling condos in this development.

Also included was a stay in Daytona Beach, and a 3-day cruise on the Carribean, on a Carnival Cruise ship

She then said that the trip was NOT free - but would be at a 'promotional rate'

When I informed her that my number was on the Do Not Call Registry, she became angry and started yelling about how I had wasted her time. I told her "Now you know how I feel" and she hung up

After the call, I did a *69 - no number came up
