Dishonest, scam, shaddy, fraud, misleading promises, deceptive, heartless

Dear complaint, I wish I would have seen your site before I got ripped off for $6500.00. I was not aware that so many people are thinking about a class action suite against VIP Travel, Lexington, SC. Let me tell you why I'm mad.

Last years we attended a seminar in St. Augustine Florida, promising the "Moon" and all we go was a bill from Am Ex. For $6500.00. Being good people we planned to pay and go on a trip asap. We told Mr. Stewart our seminar co-ordinator our dilemma... My husband has terminal colon/liver cancer, and we were fighting a time to take one last trip together, and chemo, and dying. Mr. Stewart said, "No problem, as soon as you get home just call and you will get the best deals immediately." We put faith in these crooks.

The next day we called, but our travel agent Jeri Ballard never returned our call, it was November and we wanted to travel in December. Called again, still no return call. After finally hunting her down a week later, she called with a trip fiqure that was more than Vacations to Go??? Hadn't we been promised so much? And with the death of my husband looming in the background, not only was our time limitted but so was our resources.

I emailed Jeri Ballard and told her since I couldn't get her on the phone, that I was emailing her telling her that we were not paying our AM. Ex. Bill. She emailed me back, one month later. I spoke with Shirley, another worker at VIP Travel in Lexington, SC. And she was very sweet, but she couldn't help me either.

We received no trip, no gas, no airline tickets, and was saddled with not only a fraudulant $6500.00 Am. Ex. Bill which we paid, but a $20,000.00 medical bill. We asked just for some of the money back to help with my husbands med. Bill and they said, "No". These people are heartless. I told them how do they sleep at night. They know that they rip people off, and still they continue to do these stupid seminars, taking peoples money and not following through with their promises.

My husband has been very sick and can only travel a short distance from home, he off chemo until next month, which makes him bleed and we think the cancer may have spread to his bones... Thank you VIP travel. If there is a class action suite pending, I will be the first person to sign, unless they refund some of my money.
We would have love to taken a trip, we've been married almost 50 years, and even though it wasn't our 50th "dead" on, we were going to call it our 50th.
As I've said before, how do you people sleep at night???
