VIP travel free airline tickets virtually useless

We attended a sales presentation for VIP travel at the Holiday Inn express in Birmingham Alabama in February. For attending we were promised 2 free airline tickets to anywhere in the U.S. And a 7 day car rental. I mailed in a required form the next day. 30 days later I received a letter saying that the tickets were on Back order and that I needed to select a new prize from a list of "junk trips". I called VIP and spoke to Jessica. I told her this was unacceptable. She said the ticket forms had been lost in the mail, yeah right, and they had just been found. She said she'd mail out the form for my tickets the next day. 7 days later when I still hadn't received the form I called again and ask for Jessica. They said Jessica would be out of town for the entire week. I spoke to some one else and she said she'd mail me the form. The form did finaly arrive. The airline tickets are virtuallly useless to the average person. The restrictions are so tight that only a retired person might be able to use them. You have to send a $50 deposit per ticket. You can't use them 7 days before and after almost any holiday you can think of. You have to give 2 separate departure and arrival dates at least 30 days apart and you must stay at least 4 days. There a ton of other requirements in the small print but I think you get the point. The rental car requires a $75 refundable deposit. It is issued thru Greenbrier promotions pigeonn Forge Tn. I couldn't find a phone number for them anywhere. Maybe I'm stupid and maybe I just got ripped-off for $75 but I sent them a deposit today. I really don't have much confidence that I'll get the rental car with no strings attached when I need it but I decided to try it. If anyone has any ideas on how I can fight VIP travel over the airline tickets please let me know. I have written Holiday inn an e-mail however they haven't responded yet. Also if anyone knows when VIP will be in the Central or North Alabama area again please let me know. I'd sure like to stand out front of the hotel with a picket sign and the letters/forms VIP has sent me to show their prospetive customers.
